Melody went above and beyond our family's expectations--and we are beyond happy that we went with her. Our real estate situation was that we wanted to buy a house and then sell our old house. To make matters more complicated and uncertain, all this was done when we were beginning to shelter-in-place due to covid. This could have been a stressful time, but in our case it was not--because of Melody.

From the buyer perspective, Melody had a keen interest in knowing what my wife and I wanted in our new home. She is a great listener--genuinely wanting to know what we wanted in our new home and even know what differences my wife and I wanted in a home. Melody was very methodical in prioritizing our needs, wants, and price point. Based on this she was very proactive and showed/suggested only homes that fit what we needed. She was on top of every home in our search criteria.

When it came down to it, her knowledge of the market from an analytical perspective and from talking with other realtors gave us the knowledge to come up with a fantastic offer price that was quickly accepted.
When it came down to sell our house, I was less nervous because I had a great experience with Melody helping us buy our new home. I told her she had full reign. (I was busy with moving into the new house.) She took care of everything--while giving us regular updates. The biggest decisions that we had really to make was how much to update the old house and the list price. Because Melody is smart and experienced, she gave great suggestions to maximize our profits.

Melody is a godsend. I contacted Melody to assist me in selling my home so I could move out of state. As a first-time home seller, I was unfamiliar with the process for getting a home ready to go on market. My initial consultation with Melody proved to me she was patient, professional and compassionate. These are requisites to me when working with someone on such a big transaction. I could tell Melody was passionate about what she does and it made me excited to navigate the process and she quickly eased my anxiety.

After agreeing to work with her, Melody grabbed hold of the reigns and went right to work. When you hire Melody to sell your home, you get a whole team of professionals that will transform your home into the "after" of an HGTV makeover show. She gave me a few options of items to do including refinishing the hardwood floors, painting the fireplace mantel, some general landscape cleanup and of course staging the home. I love that Melody was willing to take a risk and keep the wall colors I had since they were not the traditional beige/white in most homes for sale. She also recommended having the home inspected and fixing any issues to speed up the selling process.

Within 10 days of our initial meeting, I was moved out of state and she went to work coordinating all the work in my absence. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I trusted Melody and it paid off.

Communication is key and this is where Melody excelled. I never had to wonder what was going on as she was there with a quick phone call, text message or email at the appropriate times. She even sent me photos to update me on the progress of various projects. After the listing photos were taken, she sent me a link to my homes own website and I was blown away. I couldn't believe how great it looked. The marketing collateral from the brochures to the home website are top notch.

Two weekends of open houses and 11 offers later, my home sold for 32% over asking! Melody ranked all the offers and made it easy for me to decide on the best overall offer based on contingencies and price.
